Sharing your pool with strangers - it’s a thing.

Wait…. what? Inviting complete strangers over to use your pool? Yep! It seems like there’s now an app for everything. Much like “Air Bnb” where you can rent a room or a residence for a vacation, “Uber” or “Lyft” for ride sharing, and “Turo” for renting someone’s car, you can now rent someone’s backyard pool for the day!

The app is called “Swimply” and it’s designed to help you find a local private pool to rent by the hour. Here’s how it works, according to swimply.com:

-Request a pool (or two), get approved, then simply confirm. You will only be charged for the pool you confirm with. Pools with the stopwatch icon can be booked instantly.

-Communicate easily and coordinate flawlessly through Swimply chat, and enjoy data privacy and user protections.

-
Upon confirmation, you will have access to everything you need to know including address, access instructions, WiFi details, and more.

After reviewing some of the pools for rent here locally… I’m SOLD! I would totally rent one of these! Think about it… a fun pool day with your friends and family, without being in a crowded public place!
