When buying and meeting people for an online sale:

Avoid meeting in secluded places or going to a stranger’s home or inviting them into your home.
Be cautious when buy and selling expensive or highly desired items.
Only bring the amount of money you need for the item, or consider meeting first then getting money for your payment and coming back.
Always tell someone where you are going and consider taking someone with you.
Always trust your instincts. If something does not seem right, avoid the situation and seller/buyer.
Don’t forgot your phone so you can call for help if needed.
