Thunderstorms & 20 Degrees Cooler Hitting Us Tomorrow

Batten down the hatches because here it comes! Rain, Thunder, Lightning, and much, much cooler temperatures WILL hit the Treasure Valley tomorrow.

With temperatures hitting close to 100 degrees today its hard to imagine that our HIGH is only at 74 tomorrow.

It’s been a very hot summer and Idaho is finally going to get some much needed rain. Summer storms are fun to watch but they’re also dangerous. This is the time when that nasty, hot drought we’ve been going through could spark up from one quick lightning bolt and start fires. And our brush is so dry right now THIS would NOT be a good thing. Much more difficult for our firefighters to take care of.

For now, we’ll focus on the positives about getting our lawns a little more water, enjoying the gorgeous storm’s beauty and finally not having to crank the air condition. And another thing that’s great is temperatures stay nice following this storm. Mostly mid to low 80’s with sunshine. We’ll take it!
