If you live in Nampa, you can plan on your sewer bill going up starting October 1, 2021. The 16.75% increase will up your bill by approximately $6.02 per month or an average bill of $44.18. Projections for 2022 are $45.50 per month.

Customers can also expect increases to domestic water and wastewater hookup fees and an increase to erosion control permit fees, also beginning in October.

The increases are part of repaying the $165 million sewer revenue bond that the public chose to finance required improvements to Nampa’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. Rates will increase to pay the debt through 2025.

If you do need utility assistance, help is available through the Nampa Cares and Shares program. You can apply for this program through the Salvation Army of Nampa at 208-467-6586 ext. 9 or by clicking the link below.
