THOUGHTS & PRAYERS TO MIDDLETON MOM
Holli Pool was more than just a mom in Middleton, Idaho. Holli was a beautiful soul that made Idaho shine just a bit brighter every single day. She took care of six wonderful children, worked in the dental field, and was the inspiration to a family who gave everything to their community, friends, church, and everyone they came into contact with.
Last Friday Holli’s story was blasted through social media and the city of Middleton quickly put together a couple of soccer games to help raise money for the outrageous costs Holli and her family had inherited trying their best to fight off terminal stage 4 metastatic mucosal melanoma.
I want to personally thank everyone who answered the call donating, sharing information, praying, or whatever you did to help this family. Unfortunately, Friday was Holli’s last day here in this earth and that brightness she shared with everyone is gone. She’s fought hard for more than a year and half but God felt this was her time.
I didn’t know Holli personally but I’ve had a lot of time over this past weekend hearing stories. Finding out more information about who she was. And I know this. She’s GOOD people. This world needs more like her and my heart absolutely aches for this family.
Her husband Darin has a tough road ahead. I can’t even begin to relate. Darin… as a father I want you to know that there’s many of us out here praying for and thinking about you and your kids. I’m so sorry. I know you’ll see your sweet Holli again on the other side. I know that doesn’t mean much right now. Again… I’m so sorry.
There has been a GoFundMe page set up for the family if you’d like to donate and if you cannot, sharing this page is a good way to give so that others can know Holli’s story and donate if they’re able.
