There’s A New Tradition In Our House

Want to know what it’s like on Friday nights at the Jenkins house?

For YEARS, Joey has been begging me to implement a new tradition in our house. I’ve always been so resistant and I really can’t figure out why! I think I’ve always thought that repetitiveness can be boring...but not when it comes to PIZZA! That’s right, Pizza Fridays are a thing in our home now and I am sold!

We started consistently celebrating Pizza Friday about 6 weeks ago, and I have to admit, it’s been a huge success! To make things even more interesting, we’ve been trying out lots of local pizza spots we haven't experienced before. So far, one of my favorites has been Off The Grid Food Truck! Who knew pizza from a food truck would make the top of my list!

Off The Grid is owned and operated by a really sweet married couple just following their dreams! They travel all over the Treasure Valley serving up hungry customers looking for something different. They keep you updated on their locations on their Instagram page, which makes it fun to see where we’re headed when we’re ready for some Off The Grid on Pizza Friday!

Bottom line. We love pizza in all forms in our house, and I have to admit: Joey was right! We should have started this long ago! Pizza Friday is now something we look forward to all week long and I’m really excited to get Baby J more involved once he’s old enough to understand. For now, I’ll happily eat his share of the pizza!
