Blistering Heatwave In Boise With Record Temps Coming

There’s hot 🔥 and then there’s HOT 🥵‼️ And we’re about to get the second one here in Idaho. Can you say 108 degrees? Yup. So how hot and how long?

We’re only in the mid to upper 90’s right now which feels hot enough but this weekend starts off a HUGE heatwave and it’s going to last a while. Above we’ve posted a shot of how bad temperatures will get. You know it’s bad when you see a 1% chance of rain and that’s exciting. Ha!

According to Weather.com, we here in the Treasure Valley won’t be back in the 80’s for a high until August 19, 2021. And that starts a full week of 89 degree days.

Next week is about as bad as it gets here in Idaho with every day over 100 degrees and the peak hits us mid-week at 108 degrees.

Stay inside, drink lots of water, use sunscreen when out, and let’s all just take it a little easy. Below are a few fun ideas of things you can do during a Heat Wave. Just in case you’re trying to keep some people (including yourself) entertained.
