Life Hacks Put To The Test
A good life hack can do exactly what it says and make your everyday life a little bit simpler. They often leave us thinking, “why didn’t I think of that?!” Here’s a few life hacks that we put to the test.
Turning a pair of underwear into a comfy bralette! - This was my favorite hack because it actually works! You cut a straight line at the crotch (this is wear your head will go, so I suggest a new or at least a clean pair of underwear.) Then you put your arms where your legs would normally go. It’s comfy, depending on the material you use, but you have to use either the granny panty type underwear or cheeky’s. Anything more revealing won’t work.
A Secret Knife Inside Your Nutella - I tried this one and was sorely disappointed. There is supposed to be a knife hidden in the inside of the lid. I peeled the inner layer of the lid off and there was not a knife inside.
How to Make Your Music Louder on Your Phone - The trick is you go to settings, music, EQ, and then change it to late night. (I noticed a slight difference, but nothing major.)
How to Keep Your Chips Fresh Without a Clip - The life hack says use the top off a baby wipes top, secure it to the middle of the bag, open the lid, cut out the middle, and then close the lid. This was way too much of a hassel! You have to glue the baby wipes top to the chip bag and this is assuming you have baby wipes hanging around the house. I’ll either keep rolling up my chip bag top or buy some chip clips, thank you very much!
The Secret To Peeling A Garlic Bulb - They make it look like the garlic cloves will pop out with ease. In my experience, it wasn’t quite so easy! You’re supposed to shove a butter knife into each clove and they will simply pull away from the shell. It worked, but it took a lot more effort of twisting and almost driving the knife into my own hand than the life hack made it seem. I don’t see myself using this method on a regular basis.
