5 Year Old Girl from Caldwell Holding Fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society This Friday

I often find myself in awe of the little ones in our community! Meet Elliot, a young philanthropist in the making! You may have already heard her story. At just 5 years old, she decided she wanted to help support the Idaho Humane Society with her beautiful paintings. She heard that there was a need for food and supplies for the animals, and began selling her paintings to help! Elliot’s mother, Alyssa, helped her share her cause through social media, where Elliot sold her paintings for $5.00 each. So far, she has sold over 60 paintings to benefit the Idaho Humane Society! She was even noticed nationally with an article about her in People magazine!

Get this… SHE’S NOT DONE! Elliot and her family are holding a special fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society and the Idaho Saint Bernard Rescue on Friday, April 16th at 4:00pm at Loose Screw Beer Co. in Meridian! Elliot is a big fan of Joey & Lauren in the Morning, and her mother Alyssa sent us a sweet photo of her listening on her drive to school. We really have grown to love her sweet spirit and ambition through her efforts! We can’t wait to stop by and support this cause and see her beautiful paintings, and we hope you’ll join us!
