81-Year Old Tough Mudder Grandma is a BEAST!

This is absolutely incredible! 81-year old Mildred Wilson from Missouri just completed her SECOND Tough Mudder race!

So, what is a “Tough Mudder” race?! The Tough Mudder is an endurance event in which participants attempt 10-to-12-mile-long obstacle courses that include navigating through mud, fire, water, electricity and heights. To complete a Tough Mudder, you definitely have to be TOUGH.

Back in 2019, Mildred Wilson, at the age of 80 years old, was approached by her son about doing a Tough Mudder race after he had just completed one himself. She thought about it, said YES, got the “okay” from her doctor, and began training! She crossed the finish line with her family’s support in 2019 with her husband and family cheering her on!

If that wasn’t amazing enough… Mildred decided to take on ANOTHER TOUGH MUDDER race this year - at 81 years of age. She completed it once again! Her second race was in honor of her husband who passed away following her first race.

WOW! Mildred, you are absolutely amazing!
