Why Is There A Man On Top Of A Pizza Shop In Caldwell?

If you’re a criminal, what better place to hide than on top of a pizza shop right?  And it all happened right here in Caldwell, Idaho.

Our news partners at KTVB Channel 7 just reported that 25-year-old Justin Ransford had “allegedly” stolen a truck and was in high pursuit with the Idaho State Police.  Ransford is from Wyoming but it was the Oregon authorities that alerted Idaho that he was coming their way and our guys were ready.

When Ransford was first spotted a trooper tried to pull him over but that wasn’t working.  Another trooper hit his truck with spikes which eventually led this chase into Caldwell at South 10th Avenue.  The truck ended up going down an embankment and that’s when Ransford took off on foot.  And where did he take off to?  Well, the nearest pizza shop of course.  Ha!

The Caldwell Fire Department and other local authorities joined to eventually take Justin Ransford, who was hiding on top of the pizza shop, into custody.  Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
