Treasure Valley Family Loses Everything In House Fire

Imagine waking up to your house on fire. The sheer panic to get out safely and possibly grab a few precious items if possible. For Makaela Thomas and James Decker this became a reality for their family on September 4th. The couple has two children and they lost their beloved dogs in the blaze along with their home being a total loss.

An electrical fire started in the laundry room and quickly swept through the home destroying everything in its path.

James’ employer calls him dedicated man with a positive attitude who has been a blessing to everyone he comes across.

Makaela says they did not have home insurance and they are now faced with rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
