The Cheapest Gas in the Treasure Valley

Under $2.00?! I had to do a double take! Sure enough this location has gas for $1.97/gallon and its been this cheap for a good week. Where is the cheapest gas you’ve seen in the Treasure Valley?

You can fill up at Walmart in Nampa off of Exit 38 near the Ford Idaho Center for $1.99/gallon for regular unleaded and you fill up for $1.97/gallon at the Walmart off of Fairview in Meridian.

Almost everywhere else I’ve seen gas is hovering around $2.15/gallon. It’s even $2.14/gallon across the street, so I don’t know if there’s a catch or why it is so much cheaper at this stop.

Have you seen cheap gas anywhere else in the Treasure Valley?

I’m still sad that gone are the days of gas under a dollar a gallon, which is what it was when I started driving! Yes, I’m old!

Steeper gas prices are one thing I noticed moving to the Boise area. We’re consistently priced 10-15 cents higher than Salt Lake City, where I moved from.

I looked into it a bit and it has something to do with it being more difficult to get gas here.

I’ve found participating in various rewards programs helps offset the cost, but I just

had to share this steal of a deal!
