A Good Day for Music

One of the top songs early December 1975

Jigsaw

Sky High

The British band Jigsaw got its name from a popular London night club called The Jigsaw Club. Founding member, Tony Campbell, said that it also came from the fact that the group was ‘pieced together’ from other groups at the time. Jigsaw had a few minor hit records on the UK charts, but didn’t really find a groove in the U.S. until they were recruited to record a song for a spy/martial arts movie called “The Man From Hong Kong.”

James Bond movies were already making bank when this film hit international movie theaters. These days, the song is remembered more than the film.
