Have you seen this huge lit up tree in Nampa?!
Nampa may have officially the most Christmas lights on a single tree in the Treasure Valley and it is something to behold!
On the corner of Idaho Center Boulevard and Birch Lane, there is a giant tree that has Christmas lights totally wrapped around it all the way to the top and around every branch. It’s lit up every night, and it’s now attracting visitors and making its way around social media.
The story is, a local man wanted to spread some holiday cheer, so he spent weeks using a rented scissor lift and wrapped over 60,000 lights around the tree and each branch. Each day the tree would illuminate more and more lights until every branch was completely covered, which you can imagine all the work that it took.
It looks like the tree will still be glowing through the holidays, and it’s a great family adventure and possibly a new Treasure Valley Christmas tradition!
