We all miss live entertainment. I’ve been reminiscing on the days when we would be hosting a club night in downtown Boise to bring in the weekend, or hitting the Rev, the Knit, or the Ford Idaho Center for a concert, or checking out a local comedy show. I especially miss giving out tickets on #WildWednesdays every hour so people can see their favorite artists!

The last concert I attended was Bruno Mars in Vegas, which was literally a week before everything shut down.. and the last LOCAL show I went to was Bone Thugz N Harmony at the Knitting Factory Valentine’s Day Weekend. (Sidenote: I wish I did have pictures from Bruno Mars in Vegas but Bruno has concert goers lock up their cell phones BEFORE the show, so people can actually ENJOY the concert! It’s a great concept looking back now.)

I also think about my friends and the people who work at these venues, and a good amount haven’t worked in months because of the pandemic. Hopefully we return to normal soon.

Lawmakers have confirmed that the "Save Our Stages Act" is included with the COVID-19 relief package- which would cover music venues, comedy clubs, indie movie theaters, and more.

Several artists like Billie Eillish, Lady Gaga and Willie Nelson have signed a joint letter to Congress regarding relief for live entertainment industry.
