ICE SKATING STARTS UP AT THE VILLAGE

You can always tell it’s getting close to Christmas time when The Village at Meridian puts in their ice skating rink. One thing that’s great about this rink is that they offer lessons and boy do I need lessons.

Lessons start in one week on November 16th and run through January 31st. You can get those lessons on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The official opening for the ice rink itself is this Friday, January 13th. You can bring your own skates or rent there of course and the rink is open to the public from 3-9 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday 12 Noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 Noon to 6 p.m.

Admission prices are great! Just $5 for kids 12 and younger and everyone else is $7. Your admission price takes care of your skate rentals which means this is a pretty inexpensive date night or family get together.

This year The Village is mandating reservations to keep from too many people on the ice at one time and to guarantee you can show up and have fun right away without waiting. You can make your reservation by clicking on the button on the bottom of the page.
