The Canyon County Coroner’s Office says there has been one heat related death during the heat wave we’ve been experiencing. An article on KTVB does not release the name of the person who passed away due to the excessive heat, nor do they say what exactly happened to contribute to the death.

Ada County says there hasn’t been any heat related deaths there, but paramedics have received 25 calls due to heat exhaustion.

We broke a record on Tuesday for nine consecutive days of triple digit weather.

Our neighbors In Oregon have had it much worse. 107 heat related deaths have been reported in the state.

Ada County Paramedics advise everyone to drink water regularly, stay indoors, or in the shade, and call 911 if you see someone experiencing heat exhaustion related symptoms such as speech problems, fainting, or unconsciousness.
