Idahoans Can’t Remember How to Spell This Word

Do you ever have to pull up a quick google search to make sure you can spell a commonly used word? It seems like you use this word all the time but it never looks quite right on paper?! Well, for Idahoans, there is a specific word that stumps us just enough, we always have to double check ourselves.

AT&T recently conducted a research study to find the most commonly searched misspelled words by state using google trends. Some of the words on the list aren’t surprising, and others seem completely obvious!

for Idaho, the most commonly searched misspelled word is: Piece.

Ah, makes sense. “i before e except after c” - this misspelling is actually understandable, since it’s so easy to second guess yourself! But, who even cares?! Google search whatever the heck you want!
