There are so many things to do around the Treasure Valley to celebrate the holiday season! Most of these activities are very family friendly, but even if you don’t have kids in tow get out of the house and take advantage of all the great offerings around town. The Village in Meridian

  • Take a picture with Santa. Reservations are required this year and Santa does have office hours.

  • Have your kids drop off their letters to Santa at the magical mailbox

  • Take your kiddos to story time with Santa’s helpers on Monday’s from 11:30 a.m. - 12 in the Village Cinema Lobby.

  • 15 snowmen can be found hiding around The Village throughout the month of December. Scavenger hunt checklists are available at the concierge desk. You can bring them back complete for a complimentary gift!

  • The ice-skating rink is now open. You can make a reservation for a 30-minute skate window and lessons are available.

Boise Towne Square Mall

  • Pictures with Santa

  • Salvation Army Angel Trees (at the bottom of the food court escalators. Tag that show what is needed can be found and gifts will be delivered to children and seniors registered with the Salvation Army.)

Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell Over a million lights make up winter wonderland and it has Idaho’s only ice ribbon!

Winter Garden Aglow at the Idaho Botanical Gardens If you’ve never been before, it’s magical. Tons of lights, hot cocoa, and the cutest little gift shop. They will be doing timed ticketing this year and tickets must be purchased in advance.
