Skiers and snowboarders rejoice! Your chance to hit the slopes is just around the corner! Bogus Basin is planning on opening on Thanksgiving Day and according to an article on KTVB, a few trails may open even before “Turkey Day.”

General Manager, Brad Wilson, says to keep tabs on Bogus Basin’s social media for specifics on trails opening.

Like many other area businesses, Bogus Basin is short staffed, but they say they will still be able to function. They are holding a job fair and looking to still hire 150, mostly part-time workers for the season. The job fair will run on Saturday, November 20th from noon to 4 p.m. at the downtown ticket office 2600 N. Bogus Basin Road. Perks include a free ski pass, discounts, and free transportation.

They’ve also made some major improvements at Bogus Basin over the last year. New furniture for the lodge, a paved main parking lot, and more ski terrain.
