Body Found Is Likely Missing Woman From Star

Lots of people knew Deborah Hendrichs as the friendly employee at Les Schwab In Meridian. Deb has been missing since January under very mysterious circumstances and it looks like her body has been found (pending positive identification).

An organize search was held for the missing Star woman in the Meacham, Oregon area. Her body was found on the first day of the search at about 1 p.m. on the east side of I-84 near mile post 238 south of Meacham.

Deb was 56-years-old and apparently ran out of gas on January 11th.

According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Deb turned off her cell phone and left home in a black Toyota Rav4 just after 9 o’clock in the morning.

On Saturday, missing items such as her wallet and identification were found prior to the discovery of her body.

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office released a statement that in part read

This operation involved detailed planning and execution, which resulted in a successful end to help bring closure for the family and loved ones. We would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Deb Hendrichs. It has been our privilege to help bring her home.
