Wait… an 8-HOUR Joey & Lauren LIVE CAM?!
Yep - it’s true! You can spend your day with us, in our car, in our home, wherever we are. What’s more exciting than having front row tickets to see Joey sitting and watching football?! Okay, a lot of things are probably more exciting than that, BUT! Let us explain…
Our plan is to go LIVE on Facebook all day on Saturday, all to benefit the Idaho Foodbank! We’ll start our day with you at 10:00AM, and remain LIVE on Facebook until 6:00pm. Why? To benefit the Backpack Buddy Program with the Idaho Foodbank! Here’s what’s happening:
10:00AM - We will officially begin our day going LIVE for 8 hours straight!
10:00AM - 2:00PM - We will be spending our time at the Human Bean in Meridian off of Cherry & Meridian, where you can come see us, grab a drink, and donate to the Idaho Foodbank!
With a minimum $25 donation, you can get an exclusive “BE GOOD. HAVE FUN.” hoodie while supplies last!
The Human Bean will be donating $1.00 to the Idaho Foodbank for every drink sold, so drink up!
We’ll also have lots of awesome prizes to giveaway!
***note: monetary donations only, no cash please
2:00PM - 6:00PM - You get to live with us! We’ll continue to be LIVE on Facebook - if we go out to eat, you’re coming with us. If we go for a walk, you’re coming with us. If we take a nap, you’re coming with us. You get the picture… whatever we choose to do, you’re coming with us!

…BUT, WHY THE IDAHO FOODBANK? WHAT IS THE BACKPACK BUDDY PROGRAM?
There is a HUGE food insecurity problem across the entire state of Idaho. So many children in Idaho are going without food when they are not in school. For example…
“Timmy” goes to school and is provided breakfast and lunch.
“Timmy” goes home from school each day without dinner. His family might not be around, they are unable to provide a meal for him, or every member of the family is sharing a small portion to get by.
“Timmy” goes home on the weekends with NO. FOOD.
Believe it or not, this is a true problem that so many Idaho families are struggling with.
But, the Idaho Foodbank has been working really hard with nutritionists to create backpacks filled with easy to prepare, nutritious foods for children to take home on the weekends so they don’t go hungry. These kids can receive a backpack from their school, that they can take home with them, discreetly. The need for Backpack Buddies is so important and that’s where you come in! You can donate to the program, or become a backpack buddy yourself, where you can take care of a child for an entire year.
