To say this family has been through a lot is an understatement. 5-year-old Danni Harris of Weiser is battling a rare cancerous brain tumor called a germ cell tumor that is entangled with her eye. As Danni and her family go through this extraordinary challenge they are in the depths of grief after losing the Mother of their family during a routine surgery last year.

Trish Harris developed a blood clot after ACL surgery and passed away in August of 2020. She was just 34-years-old.

The community of Weiser is rallying around this sweet family and trying to ease some of their heavy burdens.

One way that YOU can help is by participating in a 5K this Saturday, June 26th. The “Dash for Danni” will be held at the Weiser River Music Festival venue on HWY 95.

You don’t have to be a runner to participate, so grab your kids, your friends, your co-workers, and walk your way in support of this incredible family. The 5k kicks off at 8 a.m. this Saturday.

To sign up and for more information, contact Angi York at 208-741-2718 or Kevin Bravo at 541-212-0850.
