What happens when you leave a soda out for 3 and a half months?

Just came across this video over the weekend. If you leave a glass of soda out for a few hours, it obviously goes flat.  What happens if you leave it out LONGER?

 

This time-lapse video documents a glass of soda left out for 105 days!  First, it slowly evaporates.  After about a week, mold starts GROWING. After a little over a hundred days, it's just SLUDGE at the bottom. 🤢🤢🤢🤢
