Treasure Valley Rain Storm Coming

We haven’t had much rain this year but get ready Idaho… it’s coming!

I backed WAY off of the watering and my lawn is starting to feel it. It’s almost October and we’re sitting here at 85 degrees today. I need some rain to help me out a bit and guess what? Ask and you shall receive. We’re supposed to get some very cool temperatures and plenty of water tomorrow.

Here’s your warning in advance. Idaho drivers go absolutely berzerk the first time it rains after a long period of sunshine so stay alert. We’re supposed to start getting it early morning around 3 a.m. finally clearing up just before lunch time at noon. Which means… that morning commute into work could take you a bit longer.

Our high tomorrow is much cooler than what we’re used to. We’ll hit the low 60’s but don’t worry that won’t last long. Sunshine is back in the forecast with warmer temperatures starting Thursday and that’ll last for a good couple of weeks. So let’s enjoy the one day of cold weather and a little moisture to wrap up this long, hot summer we’ve had.
