#tbt: Rebecca Black’s “Friday” turns TEN this week.

It's crazy to believe that Rebecca Black’s Friday has been out for a decade now.

It might feel like nostalgia for a lot of us.. but it wasn’t really like that for her.

It’s not a “perfect” song by any means, but she was just a 13 year old kid! Rebecca actually faced a LOT of criticism, bullying and death threats over the song; and she eventually started being homeschooled and became depressed over the backlash.

We are now in 2021. She is still pursuing music as a career and even appeared on singing competition shows…and yesterday she dropped the official remix to it:
