Here’s how much money new Boise State Football Coach Andy Avalos will be making…
If you missed the big news, Boise State has found their new football coach in former Boise State linebacker and assistant coach, Andy Avalos.
On January 10th, Avalos was officially welcomed with his press conference answering questions from the media as the new head coach gets ready to ring in a new era of Boise State football…but how about the big question, how much money will he be making?
KTVB Channel 7 Sports Director Jay Tust is reporting that Avalos’ contract is a 5-year deal worth $7.75 million, with a base salary of $1.4 million the first year.
Now if you think that is a lot of money, you aren’t wrong, but it’s actually in the same range of money that Bryan Harsin was getting paid to coach the Broncos.
Plenty of Boise State fans are excited for this new era of Bronco football to start with Andy Avalos at the helm, and he’ll have a couple more zeros in his bank account as he gets started.
