The masks are back. Starting today, masks will be mandated for everyone, including those who have been vaccinated inside all Boise City buildings. This includes Boise City Hall, all Boise libraries, city offices, and city recreational facilities.

Chief of Staff, Courtney Washburn, told KTVB

Wearing masks is a proven way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and until there is a higher vaccine rate and fewer positive COVID-19 cases in Ada County, this step is necessary to protect our team and our residents who rely on the services the city provides.

Both Meridian and Nampa say they will not mandate masks at this time, but people are encouraged to practice social distancing and frequent hand washing.
