Late Night T.V. Host Jimmy Kimmel Buys a Lodge in Idaho

Californian’s have been discovering Idaho, packing up, and moving in droves over the past couple years, but celebrities are becoming our neighbors too!

We all know about Demi Moore living in Sun Valley; plus, her ex-husband Bruce Willis had a place there for years before selling in 2018. Coeur d’Alene has also been a hot spot for Hollywood vacations with Kardashian and Ryan Seacrest sightings, just to name a few!

Now, late night t.v. host Jimmy Kimmel has purchased a vacation home in Swan Valley. (Swan Valley is near the Wyoming boarder, east of Idaho Falls.)

Jimmy’s new lodge was reportedly going for around $8 Million. It has access to the snake river where Kimmel plans to fly fish. Jimmy says he fell in love with Idaho when he rented an RV and went road tripping with his son last year.

As for decorating the lodge, Kimmel has a collection of fishing art and books about the sport. The vacation home is said to have luxury accommodations, which you’d expect for $8,000,000 +, but he still plans on making some renovations. Kimmel didn’t make the large purchase himself though, angler Oliver White also went in on the investment.

Kimmel has been taking summers off from his show and that’s when he says he plans to make all those great family memories right here in Idaho!
