If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s to not only value our local food purveyors but to also give them our money when it’s feasible to do so. 2020 saw the closing of far too many of our favorite local restaurants and this has had an impact on a lot of families. The best part about local restaurants is that they source a lot (if not all) of their food from local farmers! So buying local helps the local economy.
My wife and I are social butterflies. So when everything shut down we decided on a plan and this is something you could do for Valentines day! Every Friday, we would each order take-out from a restaurant we thought the other would enjoy. We picked out what the other would eat and from where. It’s a fun, little experiment you can do with your significant other to see how well you know one another.
Whatever you choose to do this weekend, make it a good one and SUPPORT LOCAL!
