Iconic McCall Restaurant Closing

This was a tough one to swallow. It’s hard to believe such an incredibly iconic restaurant is actually closing its doors. For good.

If you’ve ever been to the gorgeous town of McCall, Idaho, you’ve likely been to one of the most popular and longest standing restaurants located right off of 3rd Street: The Pancake House.

Having breakfast at The Pancake House is a tradition for many families. They are famously known for their giant plate-sized pancakes, enormous cinnamon rolls, breakfast platters, and the homey atmosphere of having a meal at grandma’s. Not to mention, the Pancake House also takes on the image of the “Christmas House” and has a plethora of Christmas decor and goodies for all to enjoy.

Unfortunately, after a few years of looking for new owners to take over running the restaurant, it will be turned over to buyers who plan to transform The Pancake House into something completely different. The building will have a new purpose.

Sunday 12/5 will be the last day of operation for the iconic Pancake House after 43 years.
