IDAHO WIND STORM KILLS YOUNG WOMAN
For most of us that wind storm that came on so abruptly Tuesday night here in the Treasure Valley, it was just something different, cooled off temperatures, and busted up a few trees but for two Idaho women, this storm quickly turned deadly.
Two women were camping at Antelope Campground by Sage Hen Reservoir in Gem County. Like most of us, they had NO idea that a huge dusty wind storm was on the way. when it got there, the two women quickly scrambled into their vehicle hoping that the storm would soon pass but this storm was much bigger and stronger than they realized.
A massive tree was blown over and crashed straight down onto their vehicle immediately killing one and sending the other to the hospital.
There were other campers nearby that saw what had happened and quickly contacted authorities. The woman still alive was transported by air to the nearest hospital and we can only hope and pray that she’s going to be o.k. As of now we have no idea of her condition.
The two women’s names are not being released until all family members have been notified. Our thoughts and prayers go out to these families.
