Idaho Leads The Nation In Wine Consumption

Idahoans have apparently been doing just that as our fine state just ranked #1 in the entire country in wine consumption per capita!
Whether it’s at weddings, happy hours, brunches – or just because – Idaho knows how to party!
After crunching the numbers, really smart researchers concluded that – on average – every person in Idaho consumes 38 bottles of wine per year.
That figure includes many people who don’t drink any wine at all. So apparently, Idahoan wine drinkers REALLY get after it.
If you’re trying to do the math, 38 bottles comes to 190 glasses, or approximately 3 to 4 each week.
That’s a lot of Vino!
In fact, it’s more than twice the national average of 14 bottles per person per year.
