Idaho Foodbank Hosts Hope For the Holidays
The Idaho Foodbank’s Hope for the Holidays Campaign has kicked off and runs through December! The goal?! To provide much needed food to Idahoans. The foodbank is looking to provide approximately 3.8 million meals each month.
With inflation, this holiday season is likely to be particularly tough and when you’re stressed about food and making ends meet it’s really hard to enjoy the holiday season.
The Idaho Foodbank is working to allow everyone, regardless of their current financial situation, to have a holiday meal and nutritious food on the table throughout these next couple months, but they need your help.
There are events and activities happening across Idaho during the Hope for the Holidays campaign.
The University of Idaho and Idaho State University Food Fight (The competition ends at their football game on November 19th.)
Empty Bowls in the Treasure Valley will be online this year, with sales starting the day after Thanksgiving.
Sacks for Hunger with Boise State University throughout their football season.
