Another reason to avoid the Highway 55 route between Boise and McCall this summer.

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is beginning construction on Monday, June 21st, on a project to repave Idaho 55 between Donnelly and McCall.

Work continues until this Fall.

Work will take place on weekdays – Monday through Thursday

Construction will not occur on weekends.

ID-55 will be reduced to one lane with pilot cars directing traffic.

Speed limits will be reduced, and 12-foot restrictions will be in place. Road surface will be uneven.

The improvements south of Cascade are also continuing until this Fall.

Use 95 - the only slow spot is just south of Cambridge where the bridge is being replaced. One lane over the bridge.
