Idaho’s Biggest Day of Giving Begins

Idaho Gives.png

Last year in an effort to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, Idaho Gives was extended from a single day to an entire week. Record breaking donations were received. This year, Idaho Gives is from April 29th to May 6th.

To say that the past year has been difficult would be a drastic understatement. Jobs were lost, businesses closed, charitable organizations were pushed to the brink of their donation capability and a change in everyone’s lifestyle put undue pressure on all of us. But as Idahoans are naturally inclined to do, we stepped up to keep as many businesses open as we could, to feed as many families as we could and put our hard earned money in the hands of charitable organizations that ensured nobody went without.

On the eve of Idaho Gives, we’re once again asking Idaho to step up and help those who need it most.

Again this year, Idaho Gives will take place over 7 days, from April 29th to May 6th. In that time we ask that you donate what you can and encourage friends and family to donate as well. Share the mission on your personal social media channels and encourage your neighbors to do the same.

This year, Iliad Media Group and Listenboise.com will be supporting Truth208.org.

Truth208.org offers parents and children the resources they need to help them tackle the tough discussions about drugs, alcohol and addiction. To help in this endeavor, a deck of 52 cards is available for free, one for each week of the year that will jump-start the conversation with your family about addiction. To learn more about the mission of Truth208 and make a donation, visit online HERE or make your donation on the Idaho Gives website HERE.

If not Truth208, we encourage you to find a cause and a charity you’re passionate about and donate what you can. There are more than 300 organizations in Idaho that desperately need your help. Learn more and donate HERE. You can also donate by phone at 1-877-ID-GIVES April 29th through May 5th from 9am to 11pm, with extended hours of 5am to midnight on May 6th.
