If you’ve ever tried going down Eagle Road at 5PM, you may beg to differ.

Clearly there’s been a mistake – someone needs to recount the votes, right?

Not so fast.

A new list just came out which breaks down the best and worst cities for driving—based on 30 different factors—and Boise actually scored near the very top!

So what exactly did these scholars take into account when making this list?

The broke down the 100 largest cities’ traffic & road quality, safety, access to vehicles & maintenance, and cost of ownership and maintenance and when all the dust settled, Boise ranked 6th overall!

They named Raleigh, North Carolina the best city to drive in and Oakland, California the worst.

Boise actually ranked #1 in one of their 30 categories: lowest accident likelihood in city vs. national average.

So…the next time you’re stuck at Eagle & Fairview, wishing you were shopping at the Village instead of staring at brake lights, remind yourself: IT COULD BE WORSE!
