5-Year-Old Fruitland Boy Has Been Missing for 6-Months

5-year-old Michael Vaughan, who also goes by “Monkey” has been missing from his home in Fruitland for 6-months. He was last seen on July 27, 2021 at approximately 6:30 p.m. around SW 9th Street.

Please take a good look at the above picture of Michael and keep your eyes continually open. At the time of his disappearance he stood 3’ 7” and weighed about 50 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and was wearing a blue Minecraft sweatshirt and dark blue briefs.

The Fruitland Police Department is continuing their efforts on this case and they say they will give an update on the investigation on their Facebook page tomorrow.

The most recent update from the Fruitland Police Department came just before Christmas on December 22, 2021. At that time they said more ground searches were happening in a “remote forested area” north of Weiser. They also told KTVB that they have received 738 leads surrounding Michael’s disappearance.

The reward for information leading to Michael’s safe return has grown to $52, 206.

Michael’s mother, Brandi Neal said,
