National Night Is Coming!

National Night Out is one of the busiest and most enjoyable nights of the year for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office – and it’s rapidly approaching as Aug. 3 is only a few weeks away.

If you live in our patrol area and want to register your neighborhood’s party to ensure a visit from our staff, the deadline is Monday, July 26.

So be sure to sign up right away at https://adacounty.id.gov/sheriff/national-night-out/ to beat that Monday deadline.

The cool thing about National Night Out is we come to you – in your neighborhoods – to get to know you better.

Each year, thousands of neighbors take part in National Night Out across Ada County on the first Tuesday in August

Neighborhoods invite us to visit their block parties, ice cream socials, potlucks, cornhole competitions, and bunch of other fun stuff.

We weren’t able to celebrate National Night Out last summer because of the COVID-19 coronavirus restrictions, so we are really looking forward to reconnecting with you this year.

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that promotes the law enforcement-neighborhood partnerships that makes our town a safer place to live, work, and play.
