101.9 The BULL at the Gem/Boise County Fair & Rodeo

Thank you to the hard working staff and volunteers at the Gem/Boise County Fair & Rodeo for inviting The BULL to Emmett to help kick off their Annual Truck Pull and nightly events! All week the 4H and FFA kids and their families have been getting the barns ready for the public to tour while also caring for and showing their farm animals.

Here’s some of things I learned while at the Fair:

To teach a pig to walk in a straight line - start out by putting a marshmallow on a long stick. While standing back and to the side of the pig - hold the stick out in front of the pig and it follow after it.

It is illegal in Emmett to let a horse eat a fire hydrant.
Goats like to snuggle.

The Fair Board has worked hard to add some new pizzazz to the fair - but still retain it’s small town charm.

Show up to the fair hungry! You WILL find many scrumptious things to eat including homemade blueberry pie ala mode!
